PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Fatullah : Sri Lanka beat India by 2 wickets in a nail biting match of Asia cup cricket her in Bangladesh. Sri Lanka after winning the toss put India to bat first.

India batting first scored 264/9 in allotted 50 overs, Dhawan was top scorer from Indian side who scored 94 runs. 

Chasing the total, Sri Lankan started very well specially their opening and one down batsman batted well but their middle order collapsed, thanks to Snagakara's good knock which put Sri Lanka close to victory.

Sangakara scored 103 runs, he was trapped by Muhammad Shami but damage has already been done to India and Sri Lanka needed 7 runs to win with 9 balls with two wickets in hand. It seemed that Indian field placing was not appropriate as the new comer gave a chance in slips and ball finding no player crossed the boundary line for four.

In last over, Sri Lanka needed only one run to win, Indian got one more chance to draw the match but one their fielder dropped an easy catch and in this way Sri Lanka won the match.
