Rtd general Musharaf was due to present in court in a treason case but his convoy was turned to a military hospital in Rawalpindi creating speculations about his safe exit from country on the basis of medical treatment.

The more doubts were created as some journalists reported that they saw extra security measures towards Rawalpindi where military hospital is located well before his heart problem was reported. Some eye witness also reported the the road leading towards Rawalpindi was controlled by security agencies from early Friday.

It should be understood that both Musharaf's farmhouse and supreme court are located in Islamabad, whereas, the said military hospital is located in Rawalpindi, the twin city of Islamabad.
