This is the first visit of any Saudi official in last six years
Islamabad : Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia prince Saud al Faisal has said that he is not on any mission in Pakistan and he or his government has no intention to interfere in Pakistan's internal affairs.

Prince Saud said this while addressing a press conference with Mr Sartaj Azia, a senior adviser on Pakistan's foreign affairs.

General Musharraf
Prince made clear that Saudi Arabia wants an stable Afghanistan after pull out of foreign forces in 2014 and his country would not like certain elements to gather again in Afghanistan.

On the Syrian issue he said that his country wants that Syrian people should be get on board to decide the future of their country.

This is the first high level visit of any Saudi official in six years, and it came at the time when people speculate that the prince is coming to get ex-army chief and President of Pakistan general Musharraf.

Although, Saudi Prince denied any such reports but still annalists speculate that  despite of his clear denying some intense backdoor diplomacy has been run to give general Musharraf a safe way out of Pakistan. This year, as per United States announcement, the NATO forces are leaving Afghanistan and till than, they don't want to see any anarchy in Pakistan.
