PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Karachi : MQM leader Altaf Hussain has once again put more fuel the controversy of division of Sindh. 

Mr Altaf said that media has misquoted him as he never wants the division of Sindh as Sindh is like his mother.

Contrary to his above view, Mr Altaf Hussain threatened that, if Sindhi speaking people are unable to protect the rights of Urdu Speaking people, Panjabis, Pakhtoons, and Baloachs than the province should be divided in two parts, i.e Sindh 1 and Sindh 2, than world will see which Sindh is ruled best, Urdu speaking or Sindhi Speaking.

Altaf Hussain is well known for his controversial and contradictory speeches and according to some analysts he wants to defuse internal and external pressure put over his party due to the murder case of Dr Imran Farooq in London.

The timings of the demand are also important due to recent situation arising from General Musharaf treason case.

Altaf also demanded the abolition of  quota system in Sindh.
