PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Abu Dhabi: Sri Lanka has beaten Pakistan by 2 wickets in the fifth and final one day match of the series.

Pakistan after winning the toss decided to bat first and they were restricted on the score of 232, Misbahul Haq scored 51 runs whereas, Muhammad Hafeez and fast bowler Anwar Ali scored 41 each.

Malinga of Sri Lanka took 4 wickets, he was almost close to get his fifth wicket but the decision was reversed by third umpire.

Sri Lanka started very well as their first wicket was fallen at the total of 75 runs in 13th over as Perera was out on 47, lbw by Muhammad Hafeez. 

Sri Lanka batsman Chandimal, who has remained out of form throughout the series played anchor sheet role and guided Sri Lanka to win the last thriller of the match, he remained not out on 64 runs.

Pakistan team is playing without renowned all rounder Shahid Khan Afridi who is back in Pakistan due to sickness of his daughter.
