According to a leaked document by former NSA contractor Adward Snowden, National Security Agency (NSA) is tracking the location and movement of hundreds of the millions mobile phone outside Untied States on daily basis.
Each day about five billions track records are collected for this purpose to trace the suspicious patterns of travels. For this the metadata of a caller is recorded to locate where the call is originated.
The Washington Post carried such an investigation for the first time on american phone users in this October but the bulk of the information came from NSA former contractor Adward Snowden which is on the run in Russia since leaking information.
