PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Cape Town: Pakistan, after a good start, again collapsed against South Africa here in the first One Day International of their tour.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first, but their top batsman again failed and at one stage it looked that they might not be able to go beyond the 150+ but Pakistan tail ender bowlers Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti played exceptionally against South African bowlers and set a defend able target for Pakistan.

Anwar Ali was not out on 43 runs, while Bilawal Bhatti scored 39 runs as they scored record 76 runs partnership. Both the bowlers were top scorers from Pakistan Side.

Both South African bowler DW Steyn and Morkel took 3 wickets each.
