Abu Dhabi : Hashim Amla lead South Africa to score a respectable total of 245 runs at the end of the first day of the first test match here in Sheikh Zaid Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
South Africa won the toss and choose to bat first but their wicket didn't hold firm except Hashim Amila who remained not out on 118, Duminy also played well and by scoring 57 runs.
Shan Masood and Zulfiqar Babar were given test caps from Pakistan, Zulfiqar Babar took 3 wickets for 89 runs.
Hashim Amla and DW Styn were on the crease.
