The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.
LAHORE: Senior leader of Pakistan Tahreek-e -Insaf Fauzia Kasuri has announced that she is joining back the Party after disillusioned and sidelined for a month or so.
Fozia Kasuri had decided to quit the PTI on June 5 after the party refused to grant her the promised reserved women's seat.
In response to Fozia's statement, PTI has officially claimed that she was not yet cleared to contest in the intra-party polls due to the dual nationality prohibition under the Pakistani law.
Although she had given up the dual nationality but was not in time to be qualified for the elections.
Fozia Kasuri had alleged that the Tehrik-i-Insaf has been “held hostage by a mafia.”
