Gaza atrocities indicative of Israel’s defeat, Iran

TEHRAN: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s deputy for international affairs, says Israel’s atrocities against the innocent people in Gaza are evoked by the regime’s defeat in the face of resistance demonstrated by regional nations, including Syria.

He said this while meeting Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil and Syrian Minister of State for National Reconciliation Ali Haidar in Tehran on Tuesday.

Saeedlou said the Zionist regime, which is on the verge of collapse, is seeking to save itself through killing innocent women and children in Palestine.

He said Muslims and justice-seeking nations should form a united front against Israel for its brutal acts against Gazans, Saeedlou stated.

He added these days the Zionist regime has put “the resistant nation of Palestine” under pressure and if a united Islamic Ummah had been established, the regime would not have dared to kill “our friends”.
